No Easter Bunny This Year....

He sent his coastal side kicks....

the one-legged seagull and the easter crane.
Baskets are ready..........

AND .... their off!

Over land or over sea, the easter eggs will find you! What a great Easter! We are so blessed to have two healthy, happy, adorable, little boys to share the easter festivities with. What amazing blessings. We have so much fun watching all their excitement and anticipation. The years are just flying by.

Weekend Review

We loaded the boys up and headed to Rockport for Easter Family Fun with all the Burdicks. The Tahoe left bright and early, before the sun, at 6:00 AM. The boys weren't so excited yet!

Daddy had to stop at the office for a morning meeting, so the boys and Mommy played at the park across the street, before we were kicked out (it was a church daycare and apparently we were intruding). The boys had a blast burning all that boy-energy before the long 3 hour drive. Braxton climbed and swung on an old oak tree, while Baeden drove all the metal cars and hung like spiderman from the monkey bars.

After a long drive, we finally arrived at the Rockport Beach! Baeden tried his hand at little fishing. But the only thing he caught was himself.
Braxton was catching waves in the surf. He took a few falls, but before long he was a natural.

Uncle Jeffrey took Baed for a ride on the boogie board. The ride was cut short after Jeffey stepped on a barnacle and cut his foot. The things uncles do for their nephews.

Saturday wasn't the best beach weather, so after the park, we hung out and swam on the dock behind the house. The boys had fun swimming in the cold channel, and riding paddle boats and kayaks.

The only success on the poles was a few tiny perch; however, these little guys quickly became family pets. The boys had fun showing of their friends. It took Baeden a while to realize that fish can't breath like us, and they must remain in the water.
SHRIMP IN THE PANTS!!!!
QUICK -- GET IT OUT!!!!GROSS -- THANKS ALOT SILLY UNCLES!After a morning of Easter egg hunting on the dock, we loaded the whole fam up and headed to the beach for a few hours of sun and fun before the drive home.

After mastering the boogie boards, building sand castles, and splashing in the surf, it was time to clean up and head home. What an awesome weekend. Thank you Gramma and Grampa B for some family fun at the beach. An unforgettable trip.
