We spent Spring Break Weekend at the beach. We got down to Port Aransas late Friday night in time for some Moonlight Fishing. Braxton and Baeden were so excited to cast and reel even if they didn't catch anything. And when they finally caught some fish, the excitement could not be contained. The next morning, we put on our suits and headed to the beach. The weather was perfect for catching some waves.

Braxton tried his hand at some Boogie-Boardin. Once he got the timing down, he could ride the wave all the way to the shore on his belly.

Baeden had the greatest time hopping the waves. And even when he got knocked down by a few, he was quick to hop up, dust off, and head out for another wave.
Braxton tried to teach Baeden how to surf.

The weather was not so great so we waited till lunch to see if the fog would clear up. Mommy and Daddy figured it would be clearer towards the coast, but we were wrong.

We were nice enough to wait until 9 am before we lured all the gulls and their loud squawking into the channel. If the neighbors weren't up yet they would be after the gull-feeding.

But that didn't stop the boys, They were eager to get into the water again.

Eventhough it was a quick trip to the beach, it was a great trip to the beach. We are so excited to get back there this summer.
